Education Brochure

The wildlife and environmental programs available at the Mead attempt to help foster a sense of environmental stewardship. Through education we can achieve a better understanding of the values and issues of our wildlife and natural resources. Educational programs may include a tour of the Stanton W. Mead Education and Visitor Center’s green building design or the wildlife area, on or off site presentations and activity based programs. The Mead DNR staff, dedicated volunteers and UW system students come together to help achieve this goal. Below is a list of educational programs available at the Mead.  Read more about the educational programs on the Environmental Education Opportunities brochure.
