Staffing hours for the Stanton W. Mead Education and Visitor Center:

  • Summer hours (April 1st-November 1st) are Monday-Thursday, 8am-4:30pm (staffed by DNR personnel).
  • Winter hours (November 1st- April 1st) are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (staffed by DNR personnel).
  • Saturdays  11am-3pm (staffed by Volunteer Greeters) the first Saturday in April (4/2/2011) through October.
  • Sundays 11am-3pm (staffed by Volunteer Greeters) the first Sunday after the Bike-Trail Opening (5/15/2011) through October.
  • Closed holidays, holiday weekends, and under special circumstance.  If concerned please call ahead.
